Alpha Epsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Sorority Inc. in cooperation with the YWCA, will host the second annual symposium on the determination to make a stand against racism.
The program will be interactive between the audience and speakers at 10 a.m. Saturday at Muskogee Public Library. Everyone is welcome.
The purpose of the symposium is to eliminate racism and empower women to become proactive in aggressively putting a stop to racism, especially in the workplace.
Speakers are the Rev. Kevin Clayton, Derrick Reed, Elizabeth Williams and the Rev. Kyle Taylor.
D’Elbie Walker is president of the sorority and Kiemonn Jones is chairman.
Refreshments will be served by Sharlotte McBride and a committee.
