MHS Class of ’63 to hold 50-year reunion

— The Muskogee high School class of 1963 announces its 50-year reunion.

The reunion will be held May 17-19 at the Lodge at Sequoyah Park, formerly Western Hills.

“You only get one chance to attend your 50th high school reunion,” Keith Judkins said in a media release. “So we’re hoping we have a record number.”

The event will kick off May 17 with an evening cookout. On May 18, there is a golf tournament and memorial balloon release planned to honor deceased classmates.

“We chose a hotel venue so people will have the maximum time to meet, greet and enjoy each other without having to return to various lodging for the nights,” Judkins said in the release.

“And we’re excited to be able to have a casual dinner dance featuring Muskogee’s own local band, Crossfire, led by classmate Wayne Buck on guitar and vocals.”

Reunion committee members include Keith Judkins, Judy Siebert Principe, Sharon Stanphill Pabst, Wayne Buck, Ruth Ann Odom, Marilyn Bebb Dudden, Sammye Romine, Doug Walker and Tom Hanna.

Reservations can be made at the lodge by calling (800) 368-1468 or (918) 772-2545 and mentioning that you are with the reunion.

For those who may not have received a reunion registration form, it can be obtained by writing Senior Class of 1963, PO Box 612, Muskogee, OK, 74402.
