Muskogee Soroptimist International of the Americas is accepting applications for the Women’s Opportunity Award until Dec. 15. The Women’s Opportunity Award is a $1,000 scholarship. Applications are available at the library. To be eligible for the Women’s Opportunity Award, the applicant must:
• Be a woman with primary financial responsibility for supporting your family.
• Attend or have been accepted to a vocational/skills training program, or an undergraduate degree program.
• Have financial need.
• Be motivated to achieve educational and career goals.
