PARK HILL — The historic George M. Murrell Home in Park Hill is pleased to announce the creation of the Friends of the Murrell Home General Endowment Fund.
This fund has been established to help preserve and promote the Murrell Home at a critical time, as Oklahoma is facing serious funding challenges, according to a media release.
The fund is being invested with the Communities Foundation of Oklahoma, an organization with more than 500 active funds in Oklahoma that supports local communities and non-profit groups. All donations to the endowment before Dec. 31, will be matched 50 percent by the foundation. Every dollar collected up to $10,000 before the year’s end will be matched.
There is no minimum gift required to donate to the fund. All donations are tax deductible. From now until the end of 2009, several incentives are offered as gifts.
Mail your check or money order to Friends of the Murrell Home c/o Endowment Fund, 19479 E. Murrell Home Road, Park Hill, 74451.
