Muskogee County Retired Educators
Muskogee County Retired Educators will meet at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Connors State College, Downtown Campus. Theo Crawley, district director, will present information on upcoming OREA events and a legislative update.
Books At Noon
Books At Noon will meet today in Fellowship Hall of First Presbyterian Church, 205 N. Main St., Wagoner.
Lunch will be provided by the Presbyterian Women for $3.

AAUW
Joshua Daily, public health specialist at the Cherokee County Health Department, will speak at the upcoming American Association of University Women Tahlequah Branch meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Vidalia’s Restaurant, 319 N. Muskogee Ave., Tahlequah.
November is National Good Nutrition Month. In commemoration of this event, Daily will present a nutrition/wellness program, “A Strong and Healthy Cherokee County.” He will discuss health statistics in the county and how our health behaviors, specifically diet, relate to these statistics. Before coming to Cherokee County, he also worked at the Mayes County Health Department as a public health educator for more than three years. Anyone interested in the program is invited to attend.
Membership in AAUW is open to anyone holding an associate’s or equivalent, bachelor’s, or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Undergraduate students at a two-or four-year regionally accredited educational institution can join as a student affiliate. AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership. There shall be no barriers to full participation in this organization on the basis of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or class.

Duplicate Bridge
Three Green Country Duplicate Bridge Club games are offered each week at the Kiwanis Senior Citizens Center, 119 Spaulding. Newcomers are welcome at all games. Play starts at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
