Lisa Logan, owner/director of ShowBiz Dance Productions in Muskogee, announces the achievement of Gabi Chitwood.
Chitwood took her lyrical solo “Breakaway” to Stage One regionals in Jenks where she received a first place trophy in her division. Her first place score at regionals qualified her for Stage One nationals in Branson, Mo., where she received a national first place trophy. She also competed in three dance groups.
Chitwood, 11, has studied lyrical, pointe, tap, jazz and clog since she was 3. She also has competed in Rainbow Connection, Star Power and Odyssey Dance Competitions. She is the daughter of Mark and Shelly Chitwood, and granddaughter of Gene and Brenda Bebee, Bettie Chitwood, and the late Jimmy Chitwood.
