Tyler L. Wood graduated from basic training at Fort Benning, Ga., home of the infantry. Wood completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Army core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Wood is currently going through AIT at Fortgordon, Ga., then will be stationed at Fort Drum in New York.
Wood is a 2011 graduate of Muskogee High School and is the son of Helen Wood and Danny Wood of Muskogee.
