Actress Patty McCall will sign copies of her book and give a program from 4 to 8 p.m. Jan. 13 at Muskogee Public Library.
“We are excited to bring Patty McCall to the library to discuss and sign copies of her book, ‘Unmasking the Pain Within,’ which is a true story about to be made into a movie,” said Jan Bryant, head librarian at the library.
McCall’s book is the story of one woman’s courage in the face of the ultimate deception when her husband of 17 years plots her demise. McCall’s book is about conquering fear and facing challenges that she never imaged would come her way. A devoted wife and loving mother, McCall said she turned adversity into success and is now an author and owns her own talent agency. She worked as a TV host for “Hollywood Weekly” and “Blond Talk Now.”
A percentage of her book sales will go to Women in Safe Homes. McCall is involved with the organization Mothers, In Life, Passion and Health (Milphworld). She continues to follow her passion performing various supporting roles in films, such as “Montana Amazon,” which will be released this year.
