Tahlequah Community Playhouse will present “It’s a Wonderful Life,” a live radio play, adapted by Joe Landry, directed by Patsy Clifford and Renee Rae Ridge. This beloved holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940’s radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Baily unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve. (Playscripts, Inc.) Performances are at 8 p.m. today and Saturday, and Dec. 12, 13, and at 2 p.m. Sunday and Dec. 14, at the Armory Municipal Center Auditorium, 100 N. Water St., Tahlequah.
Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for students and children and may be purchased at the door.
TCP meets the last Tuesday on the month, 6 p.m. at Tahlequah Public library. New members are welcome.
