Beatles tribute band coming to area

TULSA — They act like them, dress like them and sound like the Fab Four.

Beatlemania Live!, the critically acclaimed Beatles tribute band, shows off their authentic sound at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Osage Event Center.

Featuring music from every era of the band from Liverpool, England, Beatlemania Live! fans will believe they are seeing the real thing. Beatlemania Live! uses the same model of guitars and drums used by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.

Their costume changes and songs match The Beatles early days with mop-top appearances from the 1964 “The Ed Sullivan Show,” Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, the Magical Mystery Tour and segments from Abbey Road and the White album.

Tickets can be purchased by visiting the Osage Event Center Box Office, 951 W. 36th Street North, Tulsa, or call the box office at 699-7667. General admission is $15. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Osage Million Dollar Elm Casino-Tulsa is open seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Information: www.milliondollarelm.com.
