The United Methodist Women of First United Methodist Church of Muskogee will present their annual book review and bake sale on Friday.
The bake sale will be in the Activities Center from noon to 1:30 p.m. and the book review will begin at 1:30 p.m. There will also be a reception immediately following the book review. Tickets for the book review are $4 at the door.
This is the UMW’s only fundraiser and all proceeds will go to their mission projects locally.
Martha Tuteral will review “Growing your own Turtleneck and other Benefits of Aging,” by Martha Bolton.
Martha Bolton is a full-time comedy writer and author of more than 50 books. Tuteral has reviewed one of her books before, “Didn’t your skin used to fit?” and says she writes along the same lines as Erma Bombeck.
