Alfred Self and Dorothy Rowan were married Aug. 29, 1958, in Broken Arrow. They are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
They have two sons, Alfred Self Jr. of Muskogee and Timothy Self of Hodgen.
They have two granddaughters, Amanda Hughes of Enid and Tabatha Self of the home.
Alfred and Dorothy are retired from Muskogee Regional Medical Center and they reside in Muskogee.
