EUFAULA — Pianist Kim Bultman and fiddler Joe Mitchell will play Christmas music from 5 to 8 p.m. Fridays at Our Favorite Place through the end of December.
Bultman, a Eufaula resident, is a trained classical pianist, having started her studies at age 7. She also plays a variety of other instruments, including the bass guitar and organ. She received the John Philip Sousa Award for outstanding musical achievement in high school, according to a media release.
Bultman pursued her love of music by serving as a pianist and organist at southern Minnesota churches for more than three decades. After moving to Oklahoma in 2007, she began playing for churches and later expanded her repertoire to include gospel and western swing.
Mitchell is an accomplished musician and vocalist. He plays several different instruments and is recognized as one the of the best fiddle players in the Southwest. He has been inducted into three different western swing halls of fame, in Seattle; Sacramento, Calif.; and Oklahoma City.
The concerts are free and open to all who want to visit the store and gallery. Refreshments will be served.
