Three Rivers Chorale is forming a mixed choir to perform a tribute concert in honor of longtime Muskogee music educator, Bill Hearn. Conducting the chorale will be former Muskogee High School choir director Skip Klingman.
There will be four practices from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Muskogee High School choir room — Feb. 4, 11, 18 and 25.
Dress rehearsal will be March 4 and the concert will be March 5.
An alternate bad weather date for the concert will be March 12.
There will be no charge to join the choir and no tryouts. Everyone is invited to participate in this commemorative concert. Donations will be accepted at the event that will be used to fund a scholarship in memory of Hearn.
Hearn taught in Muskogee Public Schools for over four decades.
