MLT announces cast for ‘Beauty and the Beast’

Muskogee Little Theatre is in rehearsals for the spring musical, Disney’s “Beauty and The Beast.”

Sponsored by Bank of Oklahoma, MLT has added four additional performances for this show. Performance dates are: 8 p.m. April 8 and 9; 1 and 8 p.m. April 10; 2 p.m. April 11; 8 p.m. April 13, 15, 16, 17 and 2 p.m. April 18. Advance tickets are available beginning March 19 at Soundworld, 123 E. Okmulgee Ave.

The cast includes:

• Kyra Kennedy as Belle.

• Ken Beard as the Beast.

• Steve Thomson as Lumiere.

• Keith Garrison as Cogsworth.

• Sandra Barks as Mrs. Potts.

• Alexi Kate Schofield as Chip.

• Chrissy Lewis as Babette.

• Shannon Johnson as Madame de la Grande Bouche.

• Tommy Cummings as Gaston.

• Justin Franks as LeFou.

• Bobby Smith as Maurice.

• Mike Perez as D’Arque/Bookseller.

• Angelina Villagas-Cummings, Libby Schofield, Jessica Tipton and MaKenna Hukil as the Silly Girls/Dancers/Wolves.

• Hilary Richardson as the Enchantress/Knife.

• Matt Denton as Prince/Villager.

• Shirley James as Mother/Hat seller/Pepper.

• Alisha Tanksley as Aristocratic Lady/Plate.

• Cryse Burns as Tavern Keeper/Spoon.

• Meaghan McCawley as Lady with basket/Plate.

• Matthew Price as Candleman/Fork/Crony No. 1.

• Zach Alexander as Fishman/Fork/Crony No. 2.

• Treasure McKensie as Milkmaid/Salt.

• Justin Baker as Eggman/Whisk.

• Lacey McCoy as Lady with baby/Spoon.

• Bowen Page, Jack Greer, Madison Edkerson and Marison Riddle as Villager Children.

Chrissie Wagner is director. Ineta Bebb is music director and Krisopher Copeland is choreographer.

Disney’s “Beauty and The Beast” is a vivacious, musically enchanting evening for the entire family, said Coni Wetz, MLT executive director.

“This fantastic, extravagant, romantic, musical comedy is filled with technical wizardry, special effects and illusions, and dazzling production numbers,” she said.
