Retired Educators

Muskogee County Retired Educators will meet at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Connors State College, downtown campus eighth floor. Bruce Fisher from the Oklahoma Historical Society will present the program celebrating Black History Month. Mary Wynn will give the devotion. Jean Williams will serve the refreshments. Members and guests are encouraged to attend.

Kiwanis Club

Barbara Staggs will speak about a special Internet warning program when Muskogee Kiwanis Club meets at noon Tuesday at Muskogee Community Hospital training center, 2900 N. Main St. Information: Bob James, 687-4642.

Chapter CJ, P.E.O.

Chapter CJ, P.E.O. will meet at 12:30 p.m. Monday for dessert in the home of Phyllis Kuykendall with Virginia Lipotich as co-hostess. The program will be the annual Founder’s Day and President’s Letter presentation.



New Century Club

New Century Club meets today at 1 p.m. Thursday in the parlor of First Presbyterian Church. Betty Martin and Jerry Hird will be hostesses. Virginia Keeling will review Jennet Conant’s book “The Irregulars: Roald Dahl and the British Spy Ring in Wartime Washington.”
