Cabaret songstress to perform Monday

— The music department at Northeastern State University announced musical theater actress Andrea Leap will present a concert at 7 p.m. Monday at the NSU Jazz Lab in Tahlequah.

Leap has performed with musical theater and opera companies throughout the country, and is a specialist in cabaret music of Paris in the 1920s. She will present a cabaret recital titled Ca c'est L'amour featuring the music of Kurt Weill, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Harold Arlen and hits made famous by the legendary Edith Piaf.

Concert admission prices are $10 regular admission and $5 student admission and will be available at the door.

Leap will also be giving a masterclass on campus at 3:00pm in the Fine Arts Building (Room 301); the masterclass is open to the public and will be free of charge. This event is made possible in part through a donation by the Oklahoma Arts Council. Additional information is available on facebook/nsumusic.
