Muskogee native singer, songwriter, musician and recording artist Jeremy Hart will be bringing an evening of gospel music to Muskogee at 7 p.m. Monday at The Roxy theater.
Tickets are $7.50, adults, and $1, children under age 10. Tickets can be purchased by calling 687-3605 or on www.jeremyhartmusic.com. Ticket locations are Ruth’s Christian Bookstore, Arrowhead Mall, 501 N. Main St., 686-0339, and The Blessing Christian Bookstore, 930 Eastside Blvd., 686-8442.
The Dreams Come True concert will be a celebration of dreams that have already come true in this young artist’s life and the dreams that are yet to be fulfilled, according to a media release. Hart was a runner-up in the 2008 Muskogee Phoenix Songwriting Contest.
Among the performers at the concert will be country gospel soloist Rick Phillips of Hennepin; Renaissance Quartet of McKenzie, Tenn.; and former Perry’s pianist, Matthew Holt. Phillips produced Harts’ first CD project, “What I Have” in 2006 and Holt produced Hart’s second CD in 2008, “Set Free,” and his third CD, “Every Generation,” in the fall of 2009.
Holt, a multiple Singing News Fan Awards Musician of The Year nominee, will be performing several piano solos along with accompanying the Renaissance Quartet, a group of students he teaches at Bethel University in McKenzie, Tenn., who won the 2009 National Quartet Convention Talent Contest.
Those attending will see through each artist’s performance that they are living out the dream, Hart said.
