The Plumb Theatre’s 10-year anniversary celebration is in week No. 4 with two more special shows lined up.
Sweetwater will perform tonight. Teens Kristian and MaKanaan, 7-year-old Lily, and 10-year-old Madison are all part of this family singing ministry, along with mom Shana Sartin, dad Barnie Sartin, and grandmother Debbie Denny. Along with their vocals, you’ll hear fiddles, mandolin, guitars, drums and piano.
On Saturday, Plumb Theatre will present Nashville songwriter and country music performer Terry Smith, writer of the famous “Far Side Banks of Jordan” written for Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash. Back by popular request, Terry’s show is in high demand world-wide. His humor, wit, and musical talent combined make for a fun-filled night of country music entertainment, according to a media release.
Both shows start at 7 p.m. There’s no charge for tonight’s show. The Saturday night show is $10. Tickets can be purchased by calling (918) 452-2020. Doors open at 6 p.m.
The theatre is located 5 1/2 miles East of Eufaula on Oklahoma 9 East. The theatre is family-friendly with no smoking in the building and no alcohol allowed on the premises.
