Attorney Yale Galanter, who represents Brooke Sheen, said Wednesday the couple is "very much in love" and "they want to try to work it out."
Charlie Sheen's lawyer, Richard Cummins, confirms that the 44-year-old actor wants to reconcile.
Sheen was arrested on Christmas Day in Aspen, where the couple was on vacation. The 32-year-old Brooke Sheen told police he threatened her during an argument that started when she said she wanted a divorce.
