MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Singer Richard Marx and children from St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis will flip the switch Friday to begin the holiday season at Graceland.
Elvis Presley's home will include traditional decorations, hundreds of blue lights along the driveway, a life-size Nativity scene, Santa and his sleigh and other holiday items originally displayed at Graceland by Elvis and his family.
The interior of Graceland will also be decked in Elvis' Christmas decor for the holiday season. This includes his traditional red velvet drapes and Presley family Christmas artifacts displayed around several Christmas trees throughout the home, including the famous Jungle Room.
Presley died in 1977.
