NEW YORK (AP) — Rihanna (ree-AH'-nah) says ex-boyfriend Chris Brown had "no soul in his eyes" after he attacked her in a car following a pre-Grammy Awards party.
The singer told ABC's "Good Morning America" on Friday that after being hit and bitten by Brown, "There was no person when I looked at him."
She added: "He had no soul in his eyes. Just blank."
Brown was arrested Feb. 8, hours after he was accused of beating Rihanna after the two argued over a text message he had gotten from another woman. He later pleaded guilty to felony assault.
Of that night, Rihanna says: "It was ugly."
During the beating, the singer says she had no idea how it would end: "That's all I kept thinking the whole time, 'When is it going to stop? When is it going to stop?'"
