Tillman-Sloan to marry November 12 in Gore

— Joe and Brenda Tillman and Steve and Terry Sloan announce the engagement of their children Ashley Marie Tillman and Cody Austin Sloan.

The couple plans a 5 p.m. ceremony on November 12, 2011, at Gore United Methodist Church with Kurt Henry presiding over the ceremony.

Ashley is the Granddaughter of Joe M. Tillman of Tahlequah and the late Laura Tillman of Tahlequah and the late Claude and Jean Hall of Sallisaw. She is a 2006 graduate of Gore High School and attended Northeastern State University and Tulsa Community College. Ashley plans to pursue a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing and is currently employed at Roland Available Medical.

Cody is the Grandson of Wayne and Phyllis Sloan of Gore, Carroll Gene and Pat Henderson of Oklahoma City and the late Elizabeth Henderson of Gore.  He is a 2007 graduate of Gore High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Economics from Oklahoma State University.  Cody is a fifth generation farmer with Sloan Farms, Inc.

Following a honeymoon trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic the couple will reside in Gore.
