Melanie Ann Stout and Steve Chapman are happy to announce their engagement. She is the daughter of Mona Stout and the late Harold Stout; and granddaughter of Jewell Owens, all of Muskogee. Steve is the son of Pat and Judy Chapman of Pierce City, Mo.
Melanie is a graduate of Monett High School and Drury University, both in Missouri. She recently was an NBC affiliate of WTMJ working as a reporter-news anchor in Milwaukee, Wis. Steve is a graduate of Pierce City High School. He is owner and operator of Chapman Dairy Inc.
Melanie and Steve will wed on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, at St. Mary’s Church in Pierce City, Mo.
