Phares, Koehler plan ceremony for Sept. 24

Greg and Vicky Phares of Fort Gibson and David and Trish Koehler of Shawnee are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their children, Jennifer Lynn Phares and Michael Paul Koehler.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Tony and Mary Stangl of Okarche and Judy Phares and the late J.R. Phares of Owasso.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Paul and Jessie Koehler and the late Ray and Arita Gray.

Jennifer is a 2004 graduate of Fort Gibson High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at the University of Central Oklahoma in 2008. She is employed at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City as a registered nurse.

Michael is a 2001 graduate of Shawnee High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from the University of Oklahoma. He graduated from OU Medical School in 2009 and is finishing his Internal Medicine residency.

The couple will wed Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at Crossings Community Church in Oklahoma City.
