Taylor McCoy has something to say to Hilldale High School and Middle School students.
McCoy, a 2011 Hilldale graduate, is painting a mural on a school library wall saying “READ ... It will take you places!”
“Read” is an important message. But McCoy is saying more than that.
By volunteering to return to his school to paint the mural, the Northeastern State University sophomore is setting an example.
The young artist is a role model, showing other young people how to give of themselves.
That is a vital message.
