W. P. (Bill) and Helen Ellis Harrison will celebrate their 73rd wedding anniversary on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009. They were married at McAlester with Dick and Zella Crittenden as attendants. They have made their home in Muskogee for 73 years.
Bill is retired from O.G.&E.; after 32 years of service. He is a member of the O.G.&E.; Trailblazers. Helen is a retired beautician and past member of the Muskogee Art Guild. After more than 30 years of membership at Immanuel Baptist Church, they now attend First Baptist Church where he is a deacon. They belong to the senior adult coed class.
They had three children, Charles Harrison, Jonell Douglas and the late Ernestine Ryan. They have seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-granddaughters.
