Powers, Garrison wed on beach in Cozumel

Megan Garrison and Lance Powers were married Saturday, July 11, 2009, at the El Cozumeleno Resort in Cozumel, Mexico, in a beach ceremony at sunset.

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Vicki Garrison of Gore and granddaughter of Bob and Freda Rolland and Laymon and Virginia Garrison, all of Muskogee. The groom is the son of Lanita Powers of Guthrie, and Marty and Shaila Powers of Wynnewood, and grandson of LaVerle and the late Willie Hoffman and Thelma and the late Ward Powers.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by bridesmaids Emma Moore, Ashley Madewell, Lindsey Henry and Erin Langley.

Groomsmen were Chase Langley, Ronnie Phillips, Casey Ward and Brian Stone.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s of Nursing degree and is employed by Norman Regional Hospital. The groom is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a degree in business management and is employed by MP Horses.
