Tabitha Leanne Ruark and Jonathan Daniel Kreilaus were married on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009, in the Van Trease Performing Arts Center at Tulsa Community College in Tulsa. Pastor Scott Thomas officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Karen and Bob Gillispie of Fort Gibson, and Les Ruark of Sallisaw. The groom is the son of Kim and Mary Kreilaus of Liberty-Mounds.
Grandparents of the bride are Helen Satterfield and the late Leon Satterfield of Fort Gibson, Georgia and Charles Turner of Oklahoma City, and Clayton Ruark and the late Suzy Ruark of Sallisaw. Great-grandparents are Carl Cook and the late Christine Cook of Sallisaw.
Grandparents of the groom are the late Ray and Clella Fry of Portland, Ore., and the late William Kreilaus of Portland, Ore., and the late Barbara Hogan of Portland, Ore.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by matron of honor, Lyndsey Presnell of Mira Loma, Calif., and bridesmaids Sarah Connelly of Ardmore and Ashley Ferguson of Plano, Texas. Joe Kreilaus of Ridgeland, Miss., served his brother as best man. Derrick Ivory of Fort Worth, Texas, was groomsman. Sean Ruark of Oklahoma City, brother of the bride, escorted the grandmothers. Shelby Bull attended the guest book.
A reception was held in the Tulsa Community College’s Studio Theatre following the ceremony. Assisting with the reception were Georgia and David Wahl, aunt and uncle of the bride, Nancy Williams, and Kelly Fonkalsrud. .
Following a short honeymoon, the couple is at home in Liberty-Mounds.
