Bill and Sherry (Thompson) Crow of Muskogee joined family members in celebrating their golden wedding anniversary Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009, with a delightful dinner at the beautiful Graham Carroll House and gardens.
Married at First Baptist Church, Geronimo, Okla., on Aug. 28, 1959, the couple moved to Muskogee in March of 1969. Bill is a retired pastor, U.S Army Reserve chaplain and VA Medical Center chaplain. He continues to do interim pastoral ministry and supply preaching and celebrated 50 years in the ministry on Aug. 21. Sherry is a retired teacher, having taught at Whittier Elementary School for 24 years. She enjoys grandchildren, gardening and genealogy. They are members of First Baptist Church, Muskogee.
Children are: Leslie and husband Bill Reid of Edmond; Tim and wife Deneice (Timothy) Crow of Broken Arrow; Misha and husband John Johnson of Fort Gibson.
Grandchildren are: Collin and Cambryn Reid; Ryan, Brandon and Hailey Crow; Tanner, Tristan and Trayse Johnson.
