Robert and Marlene (Osteen) Leahey of Muskogee will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on February 6, 2012. Bob and Marlene met at Duluth Air Base, in Minnesota while they were both in the U.S. Air Force. They were married at Kingsley Field Air Base, Klamath Falls, Oregon. Bob is originally from Massachusetts, and Marlene’s home town is Oklahoma City.
They moved to Muskogee in 1975. Both were employed by the Department of Veterans Affairs Regional Office here before they retired in 2000.
Their children are Donna Leahey, a local Muskogee veterinarian, and Robert and his wife Maria, of Frisco Texas. They enjoy three grandchildren, Alex Wright (and his wife Jamie), and Rebekah and Brogan Leahey.
