Early, Shrum to exchange vows Aug. 8

Paul and Ginger Early of Muskogee announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Jane, to Bradley Michael Shrum, son of Steve and Brenda Shrum of Council Hill.

Megan is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond John Early of Chickasha, and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Barnett of Muskogee. She graduated from Oktaha High School in 2003, Connors State College in 2006 with an Associate of Science degree in Horticulture and in 2009 from Northeastern State University with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. She is employed by Select Financial Group in Muskogee.

Bradley is the grandson of Richard Shrum, and the late Nell Shrum of Council Hill, and Wanda Mason and the late Marvin Mason of Okmulgee. He graduated in 2005 from Checotah High School and in 2007 from Connors State College with an Associate of Science in Horticulture. Brad is employed by AG Equipment Co. in Broken Arrow.

The couple will marry at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009, at Kilharen’s Lodge in Muskogee.
