Dr. J. Duane and Joann Crotty of Muskogee celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, April 11, 2009. They were honored with a celebration Saturday, April 25, 2009, at St. Joseph Catholic Church Hall. The event was hosted by their children and grandchildren.
The couple married April 11, 1959, in Muskogee. They have four children, Steve Crotty and wife Beverly of Austin, Texas; Dr. Jim Crotty and wife Jennifer of Muskogee, Dr. Brian Crotty of Tulsa, and Karen Witherell and husband Carlyle of Muskogee. They have 10 grandchildren. Dr. Duane retired in 1995 after 39 years as a Muskogee podiatrist and Joann retired from Oklahoma Printing in 1960.
