Martins celebrate Golden Anniversary

Stan and Sena Martin of Muskogee celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception and party hosted by their children and grandchild Dec. 1 at the Shrine Temple.

Stan and Sena were married in Tulsa on Dec. 22, 1962. They resided in Miami, Okla., for two years, where Stan was employed. Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. transferred him to Muskogee as manager in October of 1964.

Stan remained with Southwestern Bell until retiring in February 1990 after 29 years of service.

Sena is an active Avon representative for 35 years.

The Martins’ children consists of a daughter, Lori Ann, and her daughter Jensen of Muskogee; and two sons, Chris of Atlanta and Mitchell of Dallas.
