Griffiths wed, make home in Edmond

— Lyndi Kay McQueen and Clete Thomas-Wayne Griffith, both of Edmond, were married on June 11, 2011, at St. Paul United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Jardine and Rev. Kelly Payne officiating.

Lyndi is the daughter of Rick and Mary Kay McQueen of Muskogee. She is the granddaughter of Ina Jean McQueen and the late Dick McQueen of Muskogee, DeAnna Lloyd and the late Gary Lloyd of Muskogee, and the great-granddaughter of Lucille Jones and the late Richard Jones of Muskogee.

Clete is the son of Randy and Missy Griffith of Muskogee. He is the grandson of Georgia Dobbs and the late Jim Dobbs of Muskogee, the late Eddie Griffith of Muskogee, and Don and Toni Floyd of Bluejacket.

The maid of honor was the sister of the bride, Katie McQueen of Muskogee.  The bridesmaids included: Paige Grewell, friend of the bride, of Edmond; Ryan Norton, friend of the bride, of Houston, TX; Allison Atwell, friend of the bride, of Bentonville, AR; Kelly Dail, friend of the bride, of Bentonville, AR; Sloane Ford, friend of the bride, of Oklahoma City; and Alex Cumbie, friend of the bride, of Stillwater.

The best man was the brother of the groom, Thomas Griffith of Muskogee. The groomsmen included: Jeff Breedlove, friend of the groom, of Oklahoma City; Michael Miller, friend of the groom, of Muskogee; Andrew Long, friend of the groom, of Muskogee; Davis Fraser, friend of the groom, of Edmond; Mitch Jenkins, friend of the groom, of Oklahoma City; and Bo Nigh, cousin of the groom, of Bluejacket.

Natalie Scherer Giulioli of Muskogee; and Chelsey Vanderford of Muskogee, both were guest book attendants. David Smith, cousin of the groom, of Muskogee; and Travis Smith, cousin of the bride, of Oklahoma City, were ushers. The bride was escorted by her father.

The couple honeymooned in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. They now reside at their home in Edmond, and both work in the Oklahoma City metro area.
