Felts celebrate Golden Anniversary

— Wayne and April Felts are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception for friends and family from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, at the St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2130 W. Okmulgee Ave.

They were married in the First Methodist Church of Tahlequah, with the Rev. Bill Henry officiating.

They have lived in Muskogee for 42 years. April is a retired Hilldale teacher and Wayne is a consultant with the Felts Family Shoe Stores and Real Estate Properties.

They are parents of three sons, David and his wife Cheryl of Sapulpa; Mike and his wife Barbara of Stem, N.C.; and Steve and his fiancee Delores McFarland of Muskogee. They have six grandchildren.

The couple requests no gifts, please.
