Leroy and Edith (Bass) Burnett of Porum will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2010, with a come-and-go reception at the Church of Christ in Porum. The event will be hosted by the couple’s children and family members.
The couple met in Porum. They married March 25, 1960, at the Assembly of God Church in Porum. They have two children: Becky and husband Terry Davenport of Longtown, and Ricky and wife Tonya Burnett of Porum. They have three grandchildren: Julie Davenport and Kyle and Hailey Burnett.
