Millers to celebrate 55 years of marriage

— Leon and Peggy Miller were married 55 years ago on April 28, 1957. Leon is a retired school teacher, and Peggy is retired from American Optical.

They were blessed with two sons, Abner and John. The family has grown and now they have daughter-in-laws, Teri and Tiffany. Leon and Peggy’s grandchildren include Mitchell and wife Kristin, Michael and wife Brook, Ralie Eastwood, Jole Moore, Linsey Allan and Jessie Allan. Great-grandchildren are Cade Risley, Cyle Guegello, Jersey and London Miller and expecting another great-grandchild in January, Tegan Ray Miller. Adopted as part of their loving family is KathLeen Rock and Randy and Rusty Pofahl.

There will be a 55th wedding anniversary celebration for Leon and Peggy Miller on Sunday, September 23, 2012, at Civitan Park. Friends and family are welcome to drop in between 2 and 4 p.m. No gifts please.
