CCOM transitions to electronic records

— Cardiology Clinic of Muskogee Medical Group, along with Athena Health, will start using a new Electronic Healthcare Records/Electronic Practice Management system.

This technology will provide information to help physicians to make more informed medical decisions and provide better medical care, according to a media release.

Physicians will have the patient’s complete medical history at their fingertips along with new test results, medication history, and more accurate information.

The system will also provide information to patients, to help them make decisions on their care and help facilitate and manage information and treatment.
