Brandon and Amanda Shipley of Wagoner announce the birth of their second child, a son, Karson Mavrik Shipley, on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009. He is welcomed home by his older sister, Izzy Shipley.
Maternal grandparents are Cindy Skaggs of Fort Gibson and Greg Skaggs of Wagoner.
Paternal grandparents are Martha Shipley of Fort Gibson, and Mark and Bethany Shipley of Muskogee.
Maternal great-grandparents are Peggy Starkey of Muskogee, the late Willis Starkey of Muskogee; and the late Ocie and Rose Marie Skaggs of Keefeton.
Paternal great-grandparents are Corda Shipley and the late Jesse Shipley of Muskogee; the late Charlie and Leona Rolland of Fort Gibson; and Gary and Vera Bowline of Muskogee.
