Carhops Madison Eckerson, left, Jacey Dyer, Mattie Hurlbert and Tori Payne are ready to serve the customers at Arnold’s in a scene from “Happy Days — A New Musical.” The girls are students at Hilldale Middle School. Eckerson’s father, David Eckerson, and Hurlbert’s father, Justin Hurlbert, built much of the stage and many of the stage props. Hurlbert’s mother, Heather Hurlbert, made the carhop costumes.
