A member of Muskogee’s Special Investigations Unit cleans up a discarded shake-and-bake meth lab found by a city of Muskogee environmental control agent at the 11th Street and Shawnee Bypass intersection. SIU Command Sergeant Major John Pearson said a single shake-and-bake meth lab takes four hours to clean, process and destroy — time Pearson said could be better spent if the meth problem could be controlled.
